An exciting lineup of films and documentaries by emerging film makers are scheduled for this year's 2019 festival. Being the largest festival of its kind in the Southeast, AAFF has earned the reputation for its platform in showcasing emerging talents and film makers. $8 for individual screening, $25 all-access pass available for purchase online and at the door. Community picnic with top local food truck vendors, desserts and cold beer on tap. Live entertainment from local acts on the adjacent field. Admittance is free; food and drink offerings priced by each vendor. Watch the Dunwoody Homeowners Association website and social media weekly for featured vendors and live acts.
Bring your favorite lawn chair or a blanket and join your neighbors for a free community tailgate featuring college football on the big screen at the tree lined lawn along the parkway outside Marlow’s Tavern and Karen Cannon Realtors. The featured game will be the University of Georgia against the Kentucky Wildcats (Gametime at 6 PM), as well as other fan favorites based on the day’s broadcast schedule.
There is no fee to enter the tailgate area and seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Enjoy a special tailgate themed menu of items for purchase from Marlow’s Tavern or try samples from Marlow’s Big Green Egg. The outdoor tailgate bar will feature a special signature cocktail and craft beer from Athens own Creature Comforts Brewery. Challenge your friends and family to cornhole, giant Jenga, and other lawn games. An on-site DJ will keep the lawn hopping during commercial breaks and announce giveaways from Marlow’s Tavern, Creature Comforts Beer, and others throughout the day. Four Fat Cows hand crafted ice cream will also be on-site to keep fans cool and satisfy any sweet cravings.

Stage Door Players invites you to celebrate Dunwoody Arts & Culture month with an evening of music and mingling, headlined by the Tom Woods Jazz Trio. Jazz Pianist and composer Thomas Woods leads the group on keys, along with Justin Owenhead on acoustic bass, Jared Lanham manning the drums & mandolin, and acclaimed jazz songstress Karen Bryant as guest vocalist.
The $30 ticket price will get you two beverage tickets, light refreshments, and an evening filled with music from jazz standards to pop tunes and everything in between. Doors open at 7pm on Tuesday, October 16th, for an hour of sips and socialization before the show, and the evening will wrap up with additional reception time to bask in the glow of great jazz.
