Dunwoody Nature Center

Join us to learn how to take better pictures - whether you have a fancy SLR, point and shoot, or just want to learn how to take better pictures with your iPhone. This class is free and for all ages, although might be a bit advanced for younger children. Please bring your own camera (or iPhone) and RSVP to caroline@dunwoodynature.org to reserve your spot.

Kumihimo Class

Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild
Location: North DeKalb Cultural Arts Center

The Japanese art of braiding.  First you will learn basic techniques of Kumihimo by making a bracelet that ties and has beaded ends.  Then you will learn to weave a hollow braid that can have wire added in the middle after your braid is finished.  These are great to tie scarves!  Pre-registration is required.

Two old friends fill the void left by retirement in different ways; Marty decides he wants to explore the open road on a Harley while Fred decides to pay more attention to his health invenring many new ailments along the way.  With little "subtle redirection" from their wives and a creative solution to a very unusual problem they find the right track....eventually.
